Salvation’s Plan

Here’s an example of summary text

In order to be saved one must realize that they are lost.

An example of this can be found in a simple illustration of a hiker in the forest. The hiker may have been enjoying his hike through the beautiful forest when suddenly it dawns on him that his surroundings have changed and don’t look familiar. Suddenly panic begins to set in as he realizes that he is lost. It is at this moment that he begins to sweat and fear grips his heart. The truth of the matter is that he had been lost the whole time! Friend, this is what the word of God does to the heart of the spiritually lost unbeliever. His word brings conviction and the realization that the sinner is lost in his sins and in need of the savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Please read on and let the word of God perform its divine work within your heart.

All have sinned … “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

That means you! You have sinned and are in need of God’s forgiveness. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23). Someday you will die. God gives us the wages of our sins, and unfortunately that is death; however, death is not the end. It is only the beginning of eternity, “And as it appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27). We must all stand before God someday and be judged for our sins. If you have not asked Jesus to wash your sins away with his precious blood then God will have no choice, but to cast you into a lake of fire and brimstone for all eternity.

As the hiker did not realize he was lost until his surroundings told him so.

The word of God tells us that Jesus came to “seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10b). Are you lost in your sins? Do you know absolutely sure where you will spend eternity? God’s word says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (I John 5:13).

Jesus Christ suffered in agony upon the cross of Calvary so that we could have forgiveness of sins.

The scripture says, “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures:” (I Corinthians 15:3b-4).
Good works will not save you. Baptism will not save you. Church membership will not save you. Nothing or nobody can save you except the Lord Jesus Christ. He paid the price of sin for all mankind, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. (Romans 5:8). “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” (Romans 5:9).

The next step is up to you.

He cannot save you unless you realize that you are a lost sinner and on your way to an everlasting burning fiery eternity. The scripture says, “except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3). Why not repent of your sins right now, and receive Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Please pray this simple prayer and mean it from your heart:

“Dear Jesus, I know that I am a lost sinner in need of a savior, I now repent of my sins, and ask you to come into my heart and be my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive me for all my sins and come into my heart, and give me this free gift of eternal life, and save my soul from hell, in Jesus precious name I pray, amen”.
Now that you are saved get into a good bible-believing church and confess Christ before men.
